**This position will be required to work out of both Amery and Somerset facilities. Job Summary: The Manufacturing Buyer II will monitor production requirements and place orders for raw materials to support production plans which impact fulfilment of customer orders. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Take a broader business view to problems, projects and assignments by leading, participating and supporting programs as they transfer from NPD to full manufacturing. Work closely with the operations, sourcing and planning teams to drive lead time reduction, communicate material issues as well as identify cost improvement opportunities. Ensure comprehension of freight cost impact, supplier contract adherence, RFQ analysis as well as monitoring of supplier performance through metric reporting and participation at quarterly business reviews.
