The Buyer is responsible for developing and executing the purchasing plan for raw materials at the different Loparex sites in the Americas region, ensuring availability of materials while maintaining appropriate levels of inventory. JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in a related field (e.g. Supply Chain, Business or Technical field). Minimum of three years of buying experience, preferably for a manufacturing company. APICS or related professional certification preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office. SAP experience (with IBP module) is highly desirable. Highly organized with an ability to lead small project teams.
