The Purchasing/Receiving Manager is primarily responsible for ordering and monitoring all of the incoming shipments and deliveries for accuracy. This role will sort and process all incoming and outgoing shipments and coordinating delivery to appropriate departments. Key Responsibilities Create and sustain a functioning purchasing / receiving department Contact suppliers (order and ensure timely arrivals) Coordinate with department heads daily for product needs and to be attentive of any significant deliveries Receive shipments and sign all necessary paperwork upon receipt Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, weight) Contact supplier or shipper promptly if an error is recognized Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements Label deliveries and distribute them to their designated place Ensure all cleaning schedules, temperature records, opening/closing checklists are completed and...
