Department PURPOSE OF THE POSITION Procures parts and supplies for the Maintenance department of a plant. Responsible for parts room operations, working through direct reports to ensure the receipt, preparation, distribution and inventory of parts and supplies. ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Purchases maintenance parts and supplies. Works closely with departments to determine needs related to parts, sourcing, specifications, performance and compliance. Researches, sources and purchases all necessary maintenance parts and supplies in accordance with plant need. Responsible for price negotiation and monitoring costs.
