Job Summary : Assists in the design of forms and reports for departmental performance improvement, cost reduction efforts and other departmental or hospital committees/meetings. Updates and maintains departmental written policies and procedures. Acquires data from primary and/or secondary data sources and analyzes and interprets it for cost savings and standardization opportunities. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in utilization of products. Cross-train with buyer position to provide adequate backup as needed. Assist with clinical technology equipment life-cycle management program. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications : Requires two-year college degree, Bachelor's degree preferred. Requires 2-3 years of data management experience. Requires advanced knowledge and proficiency of computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and form design.
