Job Details ChristianaCare is searching for a Distribution Inventory Buyer-Planner to be responsible for the overall management of inventory levels, demand planning, forecasting, purchasing, scheduling, returns, and timely delivery of stocked items for the distribution center operation. Some responsibilities include: Identify cost savings opportunities and process improvements for all aspects of the Supply Chain department by reviewing methodology and processes. Reviews and sets inventory levels using system generated plans and EOQ tools. Periodically review forecasted demand for assigned product categories with relevant materials management and clinical user groups; adjusts forecasted demand to forecasted patient census Reviews and approves system generated replenishment reports Reschedules, expedites, and cancels purchase orders as needed to maintain accurate performance reports Provide supplier performance feedback and respond to routine supplier performance surveys...
