SUMMARY Under general supervision, manages flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments. Coordinates material needs for manufacturing lines of difficult complexity or with greatest financial impact if errors occur. Initiates and follows established procedures. Makes decisions affecting the financial performance of the company. Executes strategic action plans. Implement and maintain processes that support Supply Chain department metrics. The Buyer/Planner will receive requisitions and/or request for purchase and/or execute material release against an active supply agreement then enter into the MRP II system.
