The Continuous Improvement Leader monitors and improves organizational processes with the aim of making them sustainably efficient. ISO 9000 process-based improvements feature heavily in this role along with innate curiosity and the ability to create simplified workflows to remove waste and eliminate low-value activities and implement or recommend solutions. Guided by lean frameworks and kaizen methodologies, they then take the lead in implementing changes, acting as a leader, manager, and mentor throughout different areas of the organization. Areas of process improvement include the end-to-end flow of information and materials. Primary focus is the office and factory. This leader will be responsible for leading through influence and will interact with all levels of the organization, from direct labor to executive.
