SUMMARY OF POSITION Manages and directs the entire operation of a fresh processing case ready food plant including production output, product quality, logistics, and plant staff. Responsible for producing food safe, quality product at the least cost that meet or exceed all regulatory and legal requirements. Maintains a safe work environment for all employees. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Responsible for planning and performance in function areas including: production, maintenance, sanitation, purchasing, and food safety. • Strategic planning and management of processing plant operations. Must meet yield standards, realize operating efficiences and cost savings.
