Sourcing Analyst (Waitsfield VT office)

Essential Job Functions:

Develop in-depth knowledge of market capabilities, economic cost drivers, supplier financials, and market competition.
Identify and propose long-term strategic contracts to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply.
Document and prepare internal and external sourcing requirements for Agri-Mark.
Qualify supply alternatives to competitively position company for best cost solutions while meeting business requirements.
Provide financial analysis of make vs buy models, vendor bids, historical order patterns, and more.
Assess supplier and product category risks and develop appropriate contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply.
Ensure supplier relationships are governed by contracts and agreements that align with corporate mandates where applicable.
Prepare forecasts, track costs, analyze and report supply chain data.
Identify and drive initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our supply chain.
Establish effective communication channels with supply chain network partners.
Partner with Product Strategy, Marketing, and Procurement to develop timelines and to execute on commercialization of new products.
Ensure compliance on regulatory, food safety, and shipping requirements.
Maintain periodic business reviews with key suppliers to track delivery and quality performance.
Prepare and deliver presentations for executive review.
Cost-benefit analysis and ability to recognize tradeoffs.
