Job Title: Warehouse Floating Area Manager
Job Location: Waverly, OH
FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Assists receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Hire and make recommendations on employment status
- Directs all store personnel to build revenue and meet sales goals
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Establish and preserve a positive work atmosphere
- Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- May be required to cross train and perform other duties
QUALIFICATIONS- 1+ years warehouse supervision experience
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Flexibility with hours: ability to work varied hours, days, night, and weekends as business dictates
- Ability to participate in our online applicant and new hire onboarding process remotely
- Ability to complete computer-based training
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- Supervise several hourly associates
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to all audiences
- Good visual acuity
- Close vision for computer work
- Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
- Ability to repetitively lift, bend, carry, and push
