The Mid-Level Inventory Control Analyst regulates inventory of goods needed for forecasted sales and scheduled distribution. Monitors and updates inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls. Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules to ensure product availability. Maintains and updates inventory system. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally tasked and directed in several aspects of work. The Inventory Control Analyst works in the warehouse or other storage facility to maintain materials and supplies inventory. Responsible for maintaining the dispensation log and conducts material audits including with government officials such as DCMA representative, as well as responsible for accurate record keeping maintaining AS9100 certification.
